Installation Validation woes

I have installed EB 1.1 on my computer, but every time I try to start the game it goes Not Responding. I investigated and found out about the Installation Validation, but every time I try it the message comes up that the instalation validation results could not be found. I installed 1.2, but the same message came up again!:furious3: What is going on?:help:

EB takes long to load, depending on hardware stats it can take up to 15 minutes.
