I recently downloaded EB1.1 and 1.2; however, the version, when I play, is 1.1. Both are in the RTW folder, which is the gold edition.

EB-FAQ (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=84854), don't forget to read this!

You have installed the 1.2 patch into a wrong location, it has to be installed into the exact location as 1.2, meaning the main RTW folder, not the mods subfolder. After you selected the root RTW folder you'll have to delete the text in the [].

When I did 1.2 the first couple times I had to go into each new folder for 1.2 and copy/paste all the info to the right areas before it would update correctly. It's a pain but it works.

I'm having problems as well, The EB installers I have used don't match the pictures on the guide and I keep getting a EB folder in the download folder. Do I need to past those files inside the vanilla RTW folder?

1. Download 1.1&1.2&fixes
2. Install RTW (for Vista&Win7 outside Program Files)
3. Start 1.1, point it to the RTW folder
4. Start 1.2, point it to the RTW folder
5. Copy the fixes to their mentioned places

This is the guide in short, if you follow this, everything works fine. If you have another EB-called folder inside RTW than just RTW\EB you installed it wrong, both installers go to the same location!

No. Install 1.2 into the exact same location as 1.1, your root RTW folder

Move the EB folder inside the EB folder into the real EB folder found in RTW, confirm the overwriting. Start EB to check the version.

Afterwards download the fixes(ie.e from my sig) and put them into their places as it is said in the thread.

PS. whats with the graphics? its all blurry and confusing on the campaign map
