According to the "Features" information on the EB official site there is a point in the game where
"Special alerts and graphics representing the major stages of the breakup of the Seleukid Empire, if the collapse occurs" happen.

Is that true? Has anyone expierenced in his campaign this feature? And if, how it's possible to happen?

I think this has worked only in the first versions of EB. It definetly doesn't work from 1.0 onward...

I believe before the final release of v1.0 there were open faction slots which were used for scripting purposes. As the Saba were included, these had to be left out. I believe the reclamation of Alexander's body to be another example.

So maybe someone who has played earlier versions has experienced them but they are impossible with the most current versions. I personally found EB with 1.0 and so have not.

Edit: Beat me to it Anubis:shame:

Damn. Why did the EB team have to fill up the faction slots, if it meant missing out on great scripts. I'd have been happy without the Casse, personally - who cares if they conquer their stupid little island anyway, they're only fighting Eleutheroi....

Hahaha, yeah that's right!

Too bad, i just conquered Babylon,Seleuceia and Arbela as KH and thought to myself "Well, these are Seleucids most precious towns they 're out to be destroyed now".

Guess i have to continue expanding east till they are utterly vanquished -_-

Up the Casse! Yes the "Fall of the Seleucids" alerts was left out to make room for the Saba and Saka as stated above.

I am afraid people are confusing a couple of things. The first release of EB was the open beta (EB 0.7) and was based on R:TW v1.2. There was one unused faction slot, the vanilla Senate, because using it would mean the factions occupying the Julii, Brutii and Scipii slots would act like vanilla Rome. The next EB release (EB 0.8) was ported, after much trouble, to R:TW v1.5. v1.5 did not include this feature, so the team used the senate slot for the Saba. Nothing was dropped for the inclusion of the Saka: they simply replaced the unfinished Yuezhi faction of EB 0.7.

I am not sure how the non-use of the senate slot relates to the Alexander and Anabasis scripts. These were trait- and pop-up based, so why would they even require a faction slot? I guess it was the switch to v1.5 that broke them, not the use of the senate faction slot. Anyway, the effects of these scripts were fairly trivial: why should I prefer that to an entirely new faction?
