I thought that the further South (http://finance.yahoo.com/college-education/article/112110/us-biggest-brain-magnets) you went, the dumber people were supposed to get? Guess that isn't quite true, huh?

It is measuring gain Vuk, not actual enrollments or intelligence. If state X had lower enrollments to begin with, then the gain is obviously much easier to increase as a percentage. It doesn't change the fact that the most presitigous Colleges are outside the South. I'm not suggesting that those in the South are stupid, just that the average in the North-West and West tends towards greater educational achievements.

We aren't dumb in the South, we just can't keep the stupid ones off the TV.
