I have a 1.5 liter bottle of Jameson in my dresser
Where do you keep your Emergencey Whiskey?
Note: Emergencey whiskey IS NOT something you break out for a party, to get in a chicks pants, or even to have a stiff one (lol) after work. Emergencey whiskey is only to be used when the proverbial :daisy: hits the fan

Dunno if this constitute an emergency things, but I sometimes forgot my half drunk vodka, and left them inside the fridge.
I keep an emergency flask of rum in the freezer so that it will always be ice cold in the event of an emergency. Where are you going to get ice cubes in an emergency? People need consider important things like that.

dammit...
On my desk. A bottle of 128 proof Booker's Best.
I got sad at Christmas and I drank it.
Until replaced, a bottle of 2005 Dark Side of the Moon Cabernet Sauvignon sits in the Booker's box.

I keep it with the emergency can goods and pistol.
A wine cellar and a beer cellar. I will survive the zombie attack - in style I might add.

I was about to state that stashing alcohol's a worrisome sign, and imperiously - if subtly - suggest caution. Then I recalled the bottle of Singleton that until recently lived on my wardrobe's top shelf. Gah.

A Bottle of Laphroaig 26 Year Old Scotch... in my Office. I've yet to crack it open, but I'll find a reason sooner rather than later.
Even if the Acopolypse would hit us right now, I'd still survive with the wine and beer in my cellar alone.
And then I have my bar in the living room which always contains at least three bottles of Scotch (currently Ardbeg, Highland Park and Glenlivet), rum, sherry, porto, Napoléon Mandarin (but that's for my wife), limoncello and at least three different flavours of jenever (currently graanjenever, anijsjenever and banaanjenever).
In case of disasters, there will be thousands of people begging on my doorstep for a drop of alcohol. After WW III has ended, I will be filthy rich because Belgians will offer me all their possessions in return for one sip (assuming I have enough self control not to empty all those bottles myself). Thnx to my master plan, Bill Gates will be a beggar compared to me.
Only the shortsighted have only one emergency bottle.

I wouldn't call it emergency booze but I always have some quality beers stuffed away in the far reaches of my basement just in case I need a good one to cool down. The same can be said about 2 bottles of champagne I keep in case their is some unexpected event to celebrate.
The liquor cabinet has various and sundry spirits for social occasions, but the downstairs freezer has my stash of the serious vodkas.

Nothing too fancy, just some favorites. Smirnoff Silver, Tito's, and Ketel One for straight, some Absolut Citron for mixed.

Try Iceberg vodka from Newfoundland. Just as smooth as the premium 2 x $ bottles, but standard price.
It's the only one I buy now.
