I don't think this one has posted one of these recently, so just for a change of pace: Myers Briggs Linkey (http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp).
I'm at work at the mo, so I'll post mine at lunchtime; if memory serves last time I did it I came out as an "Inventor"
~:smoking:
Turns out that I am a Mastermind. Awesome. ~;)

Conserative in my thoughts, liberal in my actions.
I took a much more detailed and lengthy version of this test, scored ENFP, the "champion." Which seems like a rather grand description for a personality, if you ask me.
As per usual, the personality description is 100% flattery (http://keirsey.com/4temps/champion.asp), meant for me to lap up in a glowing aura of self-congratulation and self-regard.

Considering the idea is to enable people to play to their strengths, do you want titles such as "the loner", "social retard", "sociopath", "the town drunk"?
Most of them - although written in a positive light - one can see where the flipside of the coin is.

Well, that would be hilarious, so yes.

Seems I am a Protector:
We are lucky that Protectors make up as much as ten percent the population, because their primary interest is in the safety and security of those they care about - their family, their circle of friends, their students, their patients, their boss, their fellow-workers, or their employees. Protectors have an extraordinary sense of loyalty and responsibility in their makeup, and seem fulfilled in the degree they can shield others from the dirt and dangers of the world. Speculating and experimenting do not intrigue Protectors, who prefer to make do with time-honored and time-tested products and procedures rather than change to new. At work Protectors are seldom happy in situations where the rules are constantly changing, or where long-established ways of doing things are not respected. For their part, Protectors value tradition, both in the culture and in their family. Protectors believe deeply in the stability of social ranking conferred by birth, titles, offices, and credentials. And they cherish family history and enjoy caring for family property, from houses to heirlooms.
Wanting to be of service to others, Protectors find great satisfaction in assisting the downtrodden, and can deal with disability and neediness in others better than any other type. They are not as outgoing and talkative as the Provider Guardians [ESFJs], and their shyness is often misjudged as stiffness, even coldness, when in truth Protectors are warm-hearted and sympathetic, giving happily of themselves to those in need.
Their reserve ought really to be seen as an expression of their sincerity and seriousness of purpose. The most diligent of all the types, Protectors are willing to work long, hard hours quietly doing all the thankless jobs that others manage to avoid. Protectors are quite happy working alone; in fact, in positions of authority they may try to do everything themselves rather than direct others to get the job done. Thoroughness and frugality are also virtues for them. When Protectors undertake a task, they will complete it if humanly possible. They also know better than any other type the value of a dollar, and they abhor the squandering or misuse of money. To save, to put something aside against an unpredictable future, to prepare for emergencies-these are actions near and dear to the Protector's heart. For all these reasons, Protectors are frequently overworked, just as they are frequently misunderstood and undervalued. Their contributions, and also their economies, are often taken for granted, and they rarely get the gratitude they deserve.

Hmm, I wonder if there's a study correlating between these personality types and political leanings ... just a moment, let me get my Google on ...
... nope, can't find anything. Maybe someone with stronger Google-fu can get a link to something interesting.
One of my problems with this sort of personality test is that it undervalues humor. I am perfectly willing to do something illogical and outrageous if it seems sufficiently funny. Exemplum gratum, I once did an extended and raunchy lap-dance with a stop sign. Why? Because I thought it was funny. And I later told my horrified friends that that stop sign was a slut and asking for it. Another example would be the time I saw a woman walking three little wiener dogs on the street, and decided it would be hilarious if I ran down the middle of the road screaming "DACHSHUND! DACHSHUND! DACHSHUND!" in a German accent at the top of my lungs.
How do we quantify this sort of thing?

ENTJ too, which has been pretty consistent over the years. The only big change I've noticed since the first time I took this thing a while back is I grow more and more "N" (intuitive, which while I agree with the concept, I find to be a poor choice of terminology). I get more 'big-picture' all the time, apparently.

Fieldmarshall, athough E and T is very weak. I'm not even sure that I even would get the same result by repeating the test.
INTP....
Architect
Same, although a lot of answers I would have said "Maybe" as I've not been in many such situations to say how I'd react etc.
Then again maybe that's part of being the Architect, you never get into situations...

Apparantly I'm a ******* healer. While you all get to be fieldmarshalls and masterminds, me I get the New Age title. :shame:
Although the description is pretty good. Then again, I'd probably have recognised myself in any of the other types too:
INFPs never seem to lose their sense of wonder. One might say they see life through rose-colored glasses. It's as though they live at the edge of a looking-glass world where mundane objects come to life, where flora and fauna take on near-human qualities. Sometimes I do think I'm going through life as if I were Snow White, singing and dancing and happily greeting every ray of sunshine and all of my furry little friends.:smitten:

INTJ = Mastermind
Based on this description (http://keirsey.com/4temps/mastermind.asp), these are the statements that really describe me:
Complex operations involve many steps or stages, one following another in a necessary progression, and Masterminds are naturally able to grasp how each one leads to the next, and to prepare alternatives for difficulties that are likely to arise any step of the way.
[...]
Masterminds are not at all eager to take command, preferring to stay in the background until others demonstrate their inability to lead.
[...]
Masterminds do not feel bound by established rules and procedures, and traditional authority does not impress them, nor do slogans or catchwords.
[...]
Problem-solving is highly stimulating to Masterminds, who love responding to tangled systems that require careful sorting out. Ordinarily, they verbalize the positive and avoid comments of a negative nature
[...]
But before they decide anything, they must do the research. Masterminds are highly theoretical, but they insist on looking at all available data before they embrace an idea, and they are suspicious of any statement that is based on shoddy research, or that is not checked against reality.
Not so keen on the whole efficiency thing though - my sense of humour is such that I will often take a more humourous though less efficient course of action.

That actually fits you. There are a couple of scores here which I disagree with, but I have to admit, I was there thinking "Hmm.. Rhyfelwyr seems a ISFJ to me", then I checked your score and it was correct. :laugh4:
(Also why we disagree on many things on a different level to what I have experienced with Furunculus.)
