Yeah, I can't see having any use for the second one. Looks like it'd be awkward to hold and highly breakable. Plus if those are backlit LCD screens, they'd cause alot of eyestrain.
I got excited about the first one: e-ink and large (compared to some others).

Yeah, that one looks pretty nice. The question is does it support any major content providers' storefronts?

I like my kindle.
Yeah. I got a Kindle for my mom for Christmas and she loves it. It is a neat little gizmo. :2thumbsup:

That's a question for many indeed. I recall having seen somewhere that some readers don't hit the US market because they don't support any. This one is said to do. Or do I get it all wrong.
The Kindle DX still has something that’s more important than those hardware specs. It has access to the Kindle Store.
This is a common theme among nearly all new ebook readers. They might have solid hardware, but a robust catalog of content isn’t available. The readers are just expected to survive on their own without a clear-cut content delivery system. That’s the primary reason many of the ebook readers announced world-wide will never make it to the States. There just isn’t a market for non-Kindle or non-Nook readers here. It’s all about the content.
I can't predict my tomorrows demand, but today I just want a big reader to view my own A4 sized PDF files.
