what ever happened to the guides?

i went there as i recently bought etw. There hasnt been a post there in a year. Not all nations are included and it was empty. I know etw was unpopular but it wasnt that bad and i know people played ntw. which is also empty....

Long story short:

Very few cared enough to contribute. I contributed a few template guides and planned to do most of the factions but overall I just didn't like ETW. Iit served as a huge disappointment for the first 8 months of its release, by the time it became playable, was a bit too late for me to care. Add to that the relatively limited audience here at the .Org (compared to larger sites) and you can see why no one posts in the ETW section.

NTW is a much better game imo than ETW and with the patches added to it, ETW is also improved although by no means perfect and the new influx of members for S2 the Empire section may as well pick up again and potentially add to the guides.

Guides don't appear magically, someone has to write them. Those that wrote the old ones were not inclined to do new ones, and no one else has ever volunteered for the job.

its not guides i want so much just the discussion you got in say the rtw sections. discussion about how campaigns are going, thoughts on the campaign, etc.

Come up in the Empire section then Centurion. I'm sure Fisherking and other people will love to talk about the game ;)

Fisherking does know the game quite well as I have noticed. He'll make for good conversation.
