As noted on the Shogun: Total War Community Site, the Shogun: The Mongol Invasion expansion for the 3D RTS by Creative Assembly "has now passed CQC and has entered production," and both the add-on and the Shogun: Total War Warlord Edition are on track for a July 20 release.

the notice does NOT mean that it has gone gold. sorry, but you need to read it again. it also makes no mention of some of the other things being released. i dont think they're done yet. going gold means, i think, that EVERYTHING has left the developer and gone to the distributor. this is NOT what they said.

Going Gold means that the final gold cds are finished and ready to be replicated. Of course final gold cd go through a final check themselves.

YO FELLAS!! It takes TIME to build and paint all them little colored boxes the CDs will be shipped in!! You can burn a gazillion CDs in a day... but can ye hand-paint that many cardboard boxes??? I think not... http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif
