I like TW games, but I think I will pass on this one. At a bare minimum, await further opinion.

edit: April fools? NOT FUNNY!

Shogun Total War to be adapted to cinema by Uwe Boll would be a better idea.

9 cents.

You know whats sad? I know this is a joke but you know what isn't? WW2 with dinosaurs. (http://www.dinodday.com/)

Suddenly Dinosaur: Total War isnt so farfetched!

:O Well, perhaps in a multiplayer context some people will like it. Just the run and gun types. I don't know, a little too far fetched for my tastes.

This is soooooo wrooong! That T-Rex hip bone is atleast 3 centimeters too long! I will have nothing to do with this if this terrible inaccuracy is not dealt swiftly and decisevely!!!!:charge:

Hopefully atleast the game will be properly balanced because i cant bare to see Brontosaurus tripping over because of unbalanced game nor can my speakers handle that sound!

How will one maintain historical accuracy of the campaign if no records existed millions of years ago? From fossils?

Why aren't my country's dinosaurs in this game?!

So far for historical accuracy, I guess ~:(

Not that I plan to buy it; I hate steam.

Steam's not so bad! I mean as far as combustion sources, its probably the least hazardous and as good as we're ever going to get.

If this were 1878, I'd agree with you.

Bah, no wonder they can't make a historical accurate game; the entire company itself still runs on steam anno 2011

The trees in background don't match the lush, broader leafed vegetation of the time.

Will Jeff be doing the soundtrack?

Steam isn't a source of combustion - though it is a useful means of energy even in this modern age.

So, what will the requirements for advancing through the various prehistoric eras of dinosaurs be?

EDIT: Thanks for sharing the new game. Will we get flaming pigs again, not to scare our enemies, but to distract them with the smell of bacon?

I think he is a faction leader, but I hear he has very low stats.

You may prefer to play the Flintstones faction first. I hear Deno is a real killer.

It may be a joke but the idea does not sound that bad for me. A slight fantasy/science fiction twist may work well. Only Mesozoic species, please. Guess how a successful dino rebellion ends...

I'd love it if TW mechanics could get mixed with evolutionary impulses.

Daah--it gets me curious. How many factions would there be: Brontosaurus, T-Rex, what else? BTW, could you form an army of T-Rexes? I think if you put one T-Rex beside another, they'll try to eat each other up. And I'm also curious: do you form a phallanx with Triceratops? Or a testudo with Ankyllosauri? Indulge my curiousity. Hawooh.
