Any mods for shorter hoplit spears?

I don't know if I should post this here or in the bug forum, but it probably doesn't matter much anyway.

I have always felt my hoplites have waaay to long spears. They are close to 4m long and I know that is unrealistic. I also feel my Thureophoroi have too long spears. I feel the real length should be like the ekdromoi (who also need a little bit shorter spears) have now, maybe shorter.

Is this a bug or is it the purpose?

If it is the purpose, I wonder: Is there a mod that give them shorter spears? I didn't find any using the search function (although I only skimmed through the first page of results). Are there maybe any guides?

Those are the models. The size of the spear is determined by the model.

Edit the model and you can have smaller spears.

But does anyone have a link to a guide about how to do this?

And also, I heard somewhere that there is a texture/model bug that can make the spears appear longer than they really are, but I don't know if this is true...
