Those mags are made at least a month before they hit the store. I wouldn't count on july 6th as it's probably 'old' information.

There is one aspect which should be most pleasing to all of us. At least with reviews beginning to surface, we can deduce that the 20th July is the final release date.

even for creative posting an official release date twice and letting down the 2nd time would be taking the piss bigtime and a lynch mob would be heading their way asap.

The part which excites me most is that they claim that the AI is much smarter. I doubt it'll be as good as a "chessmaster" (as claimed by PCZONE), but I hope it'll at least have some decent improvement over the previous one since I really enjoyed the campaigns.

PC Gamer (Aug 2001) has virtually wet itself over the TW:MI expansion and gives it a wacking 95%, and then gives a release date of 13th July.

It is, to qoute, "the best strat game ever", "absolutely rivetting", "not like anything you've ever played". The ONLY niggle was that the multiplayer strategy campaign option won't ship with the game but will be available later as a patch.
