WELCOME to The 300 Challenge!
https://img811.imageshack.us/img811/5838/the300challenge.png

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, this is The 300 Challenge! This is a contest of your historical knowledge, your wit, your debating skills, and of your movie-watching abilities! The object of The 300 Challenge is simple: find 300 things the movie 300 got RIGHT.

The rules of The 300 Challenge are as follows:
All contestants must post 50 corrects items in one post. All posts that contain more or less than 50 items are disqualified Contestants may challenge another's list. If a single item on a list is found to be historically innaccurate, the post is disqualified If a post is disqualified, the contestant may post again with a new list. When a post is disqualified, every single item in that contestant's list is disqualified, and may not be used by any contestant again. That means that nothing should used more than once. The first team to get an unchallenged list of 300 historically accurate items from 300 wins! Users registered after 2009 are on team 1. Users registered 2009 and before are on team 2.

What's wrong with the forum lately? Did I miss a "post nonsense" vote?

It's good to have some fun here for once in a while. It is getting way to calm here lately, the only thing going on here is maybe a weekly demotivator, some questions by a newb that didn't read the FAQ and some questions about something that occured during a campaign.

But OT, coming up with 300 things just for the sake of winning, I don't think I'll participate. I'll gladly follow this competition though, if someone experiences an overload of free time.~D

This would be more fun if:

You struck this rule. I doubt you'll get many posts otherwise.

I think maybe a thing per person, rather than 300.

Estoy de acuerdo. That would be optimal.

That is what makes it hard though. One person will contribute 299 correct ones, then the person after them will use the same 299 + 1 other one and win.

No one has such a small amount of work to find 300 correct things about 300.

Maybe, one proposal per each person.

When one says "on" the ocean, it is commonly accepted that the intention is to state that the location is close to the ocean. English grammar prevails!

The movie '300' got only one thing absolutely right, and only needed to get one thing absolutely right. The movie was 99% faithful to Frank Miller's graphic novel '300' that it originated from. The graphic novel was used as the movie's storyboard.

It's Frank Miller's story and artistic design, not Zack Snyder's. All Snyder did was convert a printed format to an audio-visual one. So any historical inaccuracies are Frank Miller's responsibility.

This really has nothing to do with EB so I fail to see why it is here,. The Org is a big place and it is so unfair on every part of the community that you would post on topics that belong elsewhere in some place where they do not belong. I'm going to close this until we can get it moved,.

Please please please think about what you are posting and where you are posting it before you actually post.
