I want to say briefly that your efforts to refresh the entertainment and interaction within the forum are, at least to this member, very apparent and very much appreciated. I think you have all managed the transition of responsibilities extremely well and at the risk of speaking too soon, I want to congratulate you all on taking the forum in a new direction.

You have inspired me (When life permits) to return to my niche of the forum and continue the good fight.

To your health and that of the Org's!

:medievalcheers:

We've been working really hard over the last few weeks to bring you guys the best community experience possible. Suggestions are coming in by the truckload and we take every single one seriously. Just look at the awesome new features around you! A good deal of them were asked for by the regular forum-goers who make this place such a pleasure to visit. We're always looking for feedback and suggestions on how we can make this place better for you, so please don't hesitate to speak up if you've got one.

I'm very happy you're enjoying the site, Glenn! I feel the same, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a CM and I'm now required to be incredibly energetic in my posting style! ( ) My enthusiasm for Shogun 2's SP is a big part of it, but another is that I've got a lot of history tied into this place. It feels good to now be in a position to really give back. Not only with my own contributions, but helping regular members with theirs by offering official support and the full weight of the site in backing...

But to quote a tired cliche: you ain't seen nothing yet. :grin2:

Thnx for the kind words, Glenn

You have inspired me (When life permits) to return to my niche of the forum and continue the good fight.

Know that, if you create something like a story, an AAR or something else, and you feel like it deserves some more attention and publicity, me and my colleagues are only one pm away

Bravo, fine managers of content!

Should I encounter some innovation, I will be sure to inform you in the proper thread Monk!
I can say confidently that whoever thought of invigorating staff posts (Forcibly or not!) had a grand idea, since unless one is lost in cynicism, it is very contagious (I have tried this tactic in the Hall [sshhh!]) and is a fun way to encourage excitement.
Anyway, I good way to spoil the magic is to overanalyse it and dissect it, so I'll just say that it's working as intended - two thumbs up!

Thank you also Andres, it is a wonderful idea to bring the works of the forum to the fore, but I must say that I would find it difficult to ask for whichever AAR to be recognised myself, and think that most authors here would also be too modest to request such a thing.
But you and the staff are welcome on discovering a particularly remarkable piece to publish it, and I am certain that many other Main Hall authors would also be encouraged by this.

Well I have a bit of time spare tonight, so let's see what I can achieve...

Edit: Wouldn't you know it, I had an idea and some pictures for the AAR all ready to go when my computer contracted a version of the System Tool virus.

Here's the catch: I caught this virus once before - right before I began the arduous processing of writing a new update to an AAR in a forum post. It actually happened the very last time I attempted an update, which was one of the many reasons pertinent to my long hiatus from it.

Is God not on my side?

No matter - I believe the website "Tinypic" is responsible for the virus in both instances (Having been opened briefly in both circumstances) and with the avoidance of that website I can now perhaps finish the work tomorrow.

This is all largely irrelevant to my thread here, but so like to divine intervention that I had to share it.

The Org Gallery (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/album.php) system doesn't have any viruses, I promise.
