Sorry for posting this in the general discussion but this is an important thing like the marvellous online campaign that Obake designed.

This is for all of you out there to know that the webiste for the tourney has been made on my site here:
http://terazawa_tokugawa.tripod.com/terazawatokugawa/id13.html

Here you can find the structure and rules.

More important this site will be because the fixtures and standings will be published there. The enlistment will begin tomorrow.
The maximum number of people is 100 but if you are numerous, we would enlarge this figure.

I will post a thread tommorow to inform you that the enlistment has begun.

Hi there,

Correct me if I'm wrong but... your rules suggest that the tourney will last 4+ days??

Don't you think it could get tricky to have people to commit to more than 1 day? many people would be able to make it once but if you try to make some to commit twice or more you could end up with someone not able to show up in subsequent phases.

We made this tourney more than a day long because:

1) It is big.
2) To respect all time-zones.

Secondly, we are sure that the honourable warriors that enter are responsible enough. If not, they will be chucked out.

Just a thought....
Could we not have the tourny rounds on the weekends? example (days are fictious)
round 1 - dec 2 & 3
round 2 - dec 8 & 9
round 3 - dec 15 & 16
round 4 - dec 22 & 23

I know that it would be spread out but it also give players time and room to prepare for the matches.

It's just a thought.

Thx

It is a good option, but it is better that we leave it as it is. It would be too spread out, and during weekends, many can't play.

But I will discuss it with Nebu.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Checked it out this seems great.

Is there going to be a clan number limit or is it first come first served

11-20-2000, 23:59
The enlistment is in a first-come-first served basis.

The max number of partcipants is supposed to be 100, but if many apply, we are going to be enlarging this number.

I like the way the Tournament is being set up Tera, but there are a couple of issues that I see. I will place them under the Tournament thread on the appropriate Forum!
