Is there perhaps a resource for the ancient images used in EBI and II, perhaps even Roma Surrectum? I mean the faction and shield symbols, mostly for Hellenistic and Skythian civilizations.

I know that many of them are based from coins, but there must be a resource that cleans up the images to how they 'should' look rather than a site just documenting the weathered remnants of the coin images.

The art and symbolism is very fascinating to me, the Owl, The Hellenon Medusa, etc.

The easiest way to do it is to trace your images on a vector program and then edit them in phtoshop or something.

I'm pretty sure you have to pay? Kinda like the drawings of osprey publishing... I wish I had money.

why would we have to pay? that sounds quite antithetical to the transparent nature of what we are working with. if so, that is just too bad.

? Umm, it is very hard to do drawings, for instace the osprey books are sold, but I guess you can find some, possibly wikipedia.

No, I only see them, some times I do (say... My Arche Seleukeia logo for Asia ton Barbaron).

Firstly, try to take a look into the previews.

On the factions accustomed to use coins, I advice you to use numismatical sites. This one (http://www.acsearch.info/)is really good for example. Yes, coins again, but note that some specimens are in really good conditions, especially silver and gold.

On the Bactrian faction symbol: the panther is a dionysiac symbol offently used on early Greco-Bactrian coins, like those of Agathokles (http://www.acsearch.info/search.html?search=panther+agathocles&view_mode=1&en=1&de=1&fr=1&it=1&es=1&ol=1&sort=&c=&a=&l=#1).
