HUGE decision I need help on. White or Black iphone?

Well as the title probably indicates, I'm planning on getting an iPhone sometime this week. Still very indecisive as to what colour I should get. From what I've read, Black seems to smugde badly with fingerprints but White is apparently 'girly'. As far as I know one isn't better than the other (performance/reception/quality wise), but it's all down on what colour suits you. Personally I'm thinking Black, but I'm going in tomorrow to look at the colours in the flesh...well, plastic. If I could have multiple opinions it'd be great!

I'd say go with black. White will show the dirt more. The black smudges, but it wipes off easily.

I agree that black is best. It looks more professional and more pleasing to the eye than white does. White just looks less mature in my opinion. :)

Neither, buy from another manufacturer. Apple iProducts are nothing more than a gimmick. If you needed any more reasons do a google search for the "foxconn factory" (yes that same company that makes the most atrocious motherboards), the sweatshop where those things are assembled.

I've resisted the siren song of the smartphone, but the people whom I know who own and use iPhones are universally pleased with them. And before Apple-haters whip out the "those products are for dirty hippies and desperate housewives" angle, one of my iPhone using friends is an electrical engineer who does robotics integration, two are sysadmins, and one is a bona fide Unix database dude. So these are not tech idiots.

Ahem. I also know some Android users, and they have a different experience. They seem to start out more befuddled than the iPhone users, but as they grow comfortable with the OS, they get just as happy. So there's no wrong choice there.

That said, black as a color always has been cool and always will be cool.

I love my droid but I would sort of like an iphone nonetheless. I hate my droids battery life mostly.

I dunno mate, it's pretty awesome atm. I'm having some good fun playing with the apps and the games, but in all seriousness it's very convenient and handy.

Although I am a smartphone abstainer, I think it's unwise to dismiss them. The iPhone and the more capable Androids seem to be replacing a lot of PC functionality for the nerds who own them. My brother, who is muy geeko, doesn't even take his laptop with him anymore. He's got his iPhone doing 99% of what he needs; the rest is desktop.
