View Full Version : Flotilla hilarity
OK something isn't quite right here, another aid-ship headed to Ghaza with the usual lot, islamists, and leftist islamphiles who always condemned all violence but never do. Israel fired a few warning shots, Egypt doesn't want them either, so by now they have no choice but heading to Ghaza because they, wait for it, ran out of supplies. You couldn't make it up. :laugh4:

Some leftists are silly, yes, but I'm not sure what this proves.
The hardcore islamophile left is no more mainstream than the far-right.
I know there is often a sense that even the average politicians are islamophiles. But that is only because of the rhetoric they use when it comes to immigration and multiculturalism. At the end of the day they still support Israel for all its flaws, and they are starting to turn against the "multicult" with comments by Merkel and Cameron etc.
but I'm not sure what this proves.
Proves that these ships have nothing to do with aid, they don't even have enough supplies for themselves.

Human biengs require more than one form of supplies. It is perfectly conceivable that they ran out of some key supply (such as potable water) and can have a hold full of useful material but it next to useless if you're going to die of dehydration.

Oh yeah that's possible, but these clowns claimed to be delivering food, and they ran out of it.

and they also claimed they ran out of food?
tho frag is possibly right about this ship XD it does seem a bit fishy all together.
they did run out of water tho.
Looking for non-partisan coverage of this, finding nothing but mouthpieces for the two sides. According to the Israel sympathists (http://www.ejpress.org/article/51097), it's much as Frags says. According to the Palestinian sympathists (http://www.bernama.com.my/bernama/v5/newsindex.php?id=588814), it's another thing entirely. Not seeing any write-ups in any mainstream news source. Post linkies if you find 'em.
