Okay, I followed the link. And then drilled down into some archive of finished or semi finished games from previous years.
So let me see if I can get this straight. Each one of you guys are controlling a single general under a single faction? Is that an accurate summation?

so it´s kind of a ptolomaioi bench manager but instead of football it´s with armies :? i rather play in the seulekid league :X

You're about two years too late for that one.
Yes, that is true.
That is a very interesting idea. I can see the potential. I can also see the overhead, but I suppose that is half the fun for you fellows.
It makes me curious how a hotseat campaign with multiple teams of players, each team controlling their own faction, would play out? It would be one of the longest campaigns ever played, probably with a lot players abandoning their avatar not too far into the game. But it does give me ideas. I am playing hotseat RTR right now (using Myrddraal's script) with a few friends. One problem is if one guy gets busy with work the others are waiting sometimes a week or two for that player to finish his turn. That might be a fun variant to play, with a group of guys only controlling a few neighboring factions.

If player drops out from this game then it's possible to continue the game without people haveing to wait for him to come back. And I have thought about this idea of yours("multiple teams of players, each team controlling their own faction") but it was for M2TW. Unfortunatelly, the game never started(were tryng to host it in TWC).
I would like to join, but I'm not sure how much time I can invest. What kind of commitment do you need from me?

Basically, if you are there during Council Sessions(this is actually the best part of the game) then it doesn't take much time. Council Sessions last about 3 days. Since we would go with 1 turn a day then you have about 12 days free time between two sessions.
However, if you want to run for some office then checking the save once a day is required.
It's up to you how much time you want to invest. But it would be nice to have you around during Council sessions.

When do you intend to start? I was going off-grid for about two weeks, but that has been postponed until a few months from now. I'm located -6 / -7 GMT time, hopefully that wouldn't be a problem?

The game was started already. You can pick your avatar from this thread (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?135729-Kings-of-the-Nile-Sign-Up-thread). Currently, the first Council session is in progress. And no, your timezone is not a problem.
After giving it some thought this weekend I'm going to have to sit out for this current game. My apologies.
Time is still under constraints, and what little I am playing RTW right now is currently in the hotseat game running the RTR mod with my friends. If only EB could run the hotseat script...I could probably talk my friends into switching, since we're only seven years into our current campaign.
Perhaps in the future?
I believe I will be playing RTW and M2TW for years to come.
