Now, I'll start by saying I am far from fat at the moment. I lost 40 pounds since last July, and put on some muscle mass, and proud of it.
However, I have a problem with lots of excess chest skin. As in, I can grab a good amount of skin around my nipple and pull it outwards, about an inch and a half, two inches out. I definitely have pecs, as is seen and felt when I flex, but there is still that omnipresent damn extra skin there. How do I get rid of this stuff?
Also in a similar case, I seem to have a bit more neck skin than I should. it's not really noticable normally, but sometimes it is and it really bothers me. Is there a way to work this off?
I run 3 miles a day every day, and my gut and any other fat I had before is pretty much gone, but these 2 things are realllllly bothering me and I'd like to get rid of em as soon as possible. Help?

You're young, correct? Your skin should conform to your new body type in time, unless the amount of excess is extreme (which 40lbs is not). Give your body some time to catch up with your weight loss.

Hmm. I was never one to find myself in a position that would demand such extensive weight loss, so this would explain my pitiful ignorance on the topic. But I find that it sure is interesting to note exactly how versatile the human body is. I will never cease to be amazed by this fact, I swear.

I have fluctuated between from a high of 205 to a low of 165 from the end of football my senior year to joining ROTC and going to college. It is different though because it was not fat weight i lost but simply switching from a weight and supplement heavy workout routine to one built around running and a lot of body weight exercise. As a result I cant really help you with the neck fat question since I have never had neck fat. I've been asked that before but I have no idea. I would presume with some planned dieting and time it would simply disappear. I suppose you could do neck exercises which are useful for the fact that neck muscles should be as strong as you can make them but that may just build the muscle under the fat. Also for you chest skin do a lot of workouts like bench and their chest heavy work or wait for your skin to get tighter. I would do the chest workouts because nice pectorals are a must for a proper beach body lol.

What he said. I've been yo-yo-ing recently with uni/illness/diet issues, but I don't have any of the excess skin like you say you have. Probably due to muscle loss, not fat loss. Just lift heavy and take your multi. With time and weights it should go away.

I know someone who lost a lot of weight, about 4 stone or 56 pounds. He looks pretty lean now but he still has a bit of fat around the stomach.
I think sometimes maybe little bits like that just stay there?
