hi everybody,


i made this thread so every can say how they completed owned ( or got owned) by their enimies



personally for me was when i was playing germania once, imagine this:


we had taken over all of northern europe ( or western, central at least) and we where laying sige on rome, my intial attack army ( army im prepared to lose but waste theirs two before i send in my more powerfull army) wasmade up of mainly screeching women:gorgeous: and archers. well we attacked rome, which had many poewrfull legonaires, we broke down the wall, i ent in my mainy screeching ladys in first, exspecting them to probabley be slaughtered...... and they sent them legonaires running home to mama!! it was so funny i was actually fiinding hard to breeth as my women chased down the legonaires and took over rome themselves- morale- prehaps their should be more women fighting units in rtw? :laugh4:

Very nice Cowkiller. Very nice indeed. I lost one of my first battles getting the hang of things. Since the result happened to fit in with my role playing, I was quite happy to have lost.

There was a Roman general with one of those names like Marcus the Mad, and a few other less presentable traits. I decided to play him as an unbalanced but weirdly charismatic guy. People would follow him just to see what he would do next. Very sordid but by some attraction of opposites he was my Puritanical faction leader's favorite. Well nutty old Marcus wheedled all the best ancillaries out of the faction leader and talked him into letting Marcus invade Gaul. There he invented new tactics based on the idea that he is Alexander the Great reincarnated and now fully divine, and therefore cannot die. The Gauls proved him wrong.

There are....over in the mods forum you can find an excellent mod called Amazon Total War. If you like the "Red Sonja" types, then ATW is the game for you........
