Running EB with Windows 7 64 bit

hey guys .... sory to be a pain again .... this is the last querey now :P then i can happily play along and continue my AAR i started over a year ago .....

Now im running EB with BI on windows 7 64 bit .... i have it installed directly onto my C drive ... it seems a little unstable at times. I completley reinstalled the whole thing and it seems to be doing the same thing .... im getting more frequent CTD's than i remember the last time i played and the most iritating thing that im getting is .... that my desktop suddenly pops up randomly at times .... mostly in battle iv noticed .... sometimes i cant get back on EB when this happends .....

Is their anything i can do to make it run better? Iv tried running as admin and running as compatible for XP .... any other suggestions ... ty xxxx :)

Try to disable visual designs, this can help sometimes.
Enable window mode for EB and keep a neutral window in the back (i.e. Explorer), don't have windows open that have any popups.

Apart from that, I personally receive no more crashes on Win7 than on XP, so maybe check your used minimods.
