Roll up, roll up, and welcome to Arpeg's second ever mafia game (if anybody recalls, the first one failed pretty quickly. I'll make a small one eventually, but for now a mini is all I can manage).
Rules are simple:
1 Mafia, 1 Kill per night
Basic mafia courtesy (politeness, no reveals, mail donuts to host, no PMing)
The rest I shall leave undisclosed. But heed my warning, fellow .Orgers, this is half-game, half-experiment, so do not join if you are expecting a vanilla game, or even a sensible one.

Hmm, I'm thinking that to comply with the USofA (and to make things easier for you guys), I'd work off EST and end rounds at 1AM EST (which would be 7:00PM GMT?). Tell me how that works for you, and if my calculations are correct.
7:00 PM GMT is 2:00 PM EST, 10:00 AM PST. You went the wrong way- we're behind you, not ahead of you.

Gah, a silly error to make! Well rounds will officially end at 1:00am EST for your convenience, but due to time zones the write-ups will not appear until 5:00am EST because that'll be when I wake up and get it sorted. Tell me if that's too complicated, I'd just rather not lose activity due to rounds ending at a weir time for you all.
If the write-ups are at 5 in the morning, we're probably all going to be asleep.

Well I'm just going to assume that EST is roughly -5 GMT.
Don't worry about me haha, being 13 hours in front sort of hampers trying to come up with a common consensus on the best timings!

Game will begin within the next 24 hours, I'd appreciate it if we could come to an agreement on which time I should do the write-ups though as I don't want activity to wane in this game.

Demortford Psychiatric Hospital, known by its inhabitants as the Madhouse, is the end of the line for many and filled with those well beyond what is regarded as sanity for most folks. Those thrown inside were seldom re-introduced into the outside world and those in the outside world would have considered it a nightmare to venture inside. Step through the iron doors, past the sealed reception and through a number of guarded gates and set foot into undoubtedly the most forsaken area of the Madhouse; the wing barred by passcodes, barricaded with heavy cell doors and heavily alarmed. The wing containing the worst of the worst, those long forgotten by any God and left alone in the world with barely any trace of human nature within.

The doctor on duty didn’t notice anything strange in the wing as he carried out his routine rounds before his shift ended. Shadowed by two armed guards, he had become ignorant to the nature of his patients. Fatal error.
In an instant, darkness engulfed the doctor, and sirens started blaring. All power to the wing had been lost. The screams of his guards shook his spine in pure terror. He turned on his heels in a rapid attempt to retreat to the safety of the outside, but it was too late; the cell doors had crashed shut in an attempt to contain the disturbance. Trapped.
Yet, the panic rescinded as dim lights began to flicker back on; the backup power generator had roared into life. To his terror, the two guards responsible for the doctor’s wellbeing had been flayed, leaving a river of crimson streaking down the hallway. One of the patients was responsible. Down the hall, the six inhabitants of the Madhouse wing were stood staring in stony silence, somehow freed from their cells. Which one of them was the killer?

And, on the first day of the lynch, it was fairly obvious to the group who had mercilessly killed the two guards and caused the power outage. Why, of course it was TheLastDays, he was covered in blood and foaming at the mouth! Unfortunately for him, the cell door was torn down and in burst a gang of armed security staff, who promptly shot him dead. Poor soul didn't even go down without a fight.
And they all lived happily ever after. Apart from the insane ones, they spent the rest of their days in a padded cell.
TOTAL INSTANT MEGA HYPER VICTORY.
Unfortunately for you, the only town role in the game at the point was DiY, who was the Doctor. The rest of you apart from our mafioso were jesters. How ironic, that those who were meant to get themselves lynched did not and in a game with 5/7 jesters it was the scum who died first.
That's my second game that hasn't lasted more than two rounds due to lucky lynching. Hoo-rah.

Definite curse, but I'm not giving up on this whole hosting idea until I get a generally successful game. Back to the drawing board methinks, next up is perhaps Mortal Kombat mafia.

Sorry, I should have provided further clarification on this one. I just got majorly tired and had to get some sleep.

Total, horrific loss: TheLastDays. I still find it hilarious that mafia can get lynched on the first round even when there are five jesters playing. Here's a balloon-medal for being so awesome: :balloon2:

The jesters were all denied their primary win condition. As such, the only person that the mafioso did not deny victory to was the sole townie.
The rankings should be townie, mafia, jester.
I guessed it as soon as I got my Role PM.

Well, the mafia's goal was to kill or outlast everyone but himself, which he failed to do miserably as well.
