I saw one pictures at a time that a person was using a GUI mod that basicly makes the diffrent units easier to se the diffrense between

For example there was blue on the background of the infantry scorecard (the cards at the bottom of the screen)
i saw this on the official forum so i cant show you a picture of this

All versions of Shogun II require steam regardless of where you purchase from, so all versions are identical. The mod will work for you.

If you're into a more low key appearance, try BullGod's pack here http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=452807

There's colored and parchment background versions. The units stand out from one another with just the plain version though due to more variation and color differences in the units themselves. They're in a painting style relevant to the Sengoku period as opposed to the ukiyo-e print style in vanilla (Edo Period development). Recommended :2thumbsup:
