I run EB on Win7 and it works 100% fine for me, you sure you've installed it in the right directory? I've never had the problem you speak of.

EDIT: From installation (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?80270-A-guide-to-install-EB-screenshots-provided) guide

this is where most people who can't run EB have made a mistake. The path/adress you see there is set to be something by default: C:\...\Rome Total War

However, for many people this is not the correct folder to install EB to. Trick is to fill in the exact same folder, as the one which contains your clean RTW 1.5 on that line. (So: either the exact same folder as the one which you installed RTW in or the backup.) You can do this by typing the entire path, or by left clicking "Browse" and select the folder of your clean RTW 1.5

Start explorer.exe with admin-rights or disable UAC to change your shortcut line.
Never install EB in Program Files.

Bugged installation/ incompatible minimods.

I would suggest a complete reinstallation outside Program Files, follow the linked guide.

I followed step by step the guide but it doesn't work.

I'm very tired now and I don't understand.

I do not have any mods except EB. What is this animation problem ? I don't even fin EB animations.

This is bad luck

I had the same issues. Make sure you run the install "As Admin"! And don't use Program Files.
