Is it a good idea to install E:TW on an external hard drive? I installed it from steam and found that it was really lagy, but i have 98 free gigs on the hard drive and 20 free gigs on my pc. i meet every sistem reguierment of the game so i just want to know what the problem is.
Thanks

Lagy in what way?
ETW can be slow at times. It is not the best optimized game. NTW works much smoother.
Is it lagging in campaign or battles?

I would try to turn down some of the graphic settings and see if it improves.
If not then perhaps we need to move this thread to the apothecary or you could post there and see what ideas they have.
There's really no good reason to install any game on an external hard-drive. I mean the max transfer rate of your USB cable is a couple hundred mbp/s, compared to the thousands of an internal device. You'll basically always be bottle-necking your gameplay to the limitations of a USB cable. Turn your settings to lowest and hope the game runs smoothly is really the only solution, beyond the obvious don't install games to external hard-drives.
