Good goal. Last minute escapes are becoming a bit of an American specialty, way cool.

And what of that cross! Beckham would sell his mum to get a cross like that in!

Down a player, last minute of extra time, extraordinary goal.

It's nice that some things are the same in football, women or men's. The refereeing in US games is atrocious, and England cannot win in penalties. ~D

USA has a soccerteam?

Exactly the question that sprang to my mind....
I thought USA didn't play football and cricket. Just rugby and baseball :clown:

Actually footie has been gaining quite a bit of traction out west, I've been paying increased attention to soccer ever since I discovered that Seattle had a team with a pretty good reputation, the Sounders (I believed they are owned by Chelsea FBC).

Women's footy is much more fun than men's. I'm going to support the girls from now on.

The Americans are not the only ones who can manage a 'last minute equalizer then hit them when they're down with penalties'. Tremble with fear, Yanks, you'll be next! :knight:

I really liked how both goals were caused by disastrous defending.
