First off, I think this requires some back-story. I recently started working at a movie theater by my house, and it's pretty great. 2nd day working there one of my fairly good-looking co-workers asked me out, so I said yes and we made out and she drove me home. I may have given the impression that we were henceforth dating. That was Monday. We'll call her Red. Then yesterday (Tuesday, in case your time-zone is in some place that would change that), I asked a different, far hotter co-worker (who will be called Green) if she wanted to see Conan with me after work. I intended this to be just as friends.
Well, somewhere along the way, we had a really long deep talk about her and all her problems and what not, and she obviously took a liking to me just before we went into the movie. We came out and now the talk of the whole theater is how we were making out. Which is fine.
Buuuuuut, I texted Red (seeing as she doesn't work at all this week and I have no way of talking face-to-face), and said, very politely and gently, that we weren't gonna work out. She replied "I understand. Have fun with Green :)". Seeing as how I know she doesn't have the phone numbers of anyone who worked there that night, and she said this only 10 minutes after we left the theater, I asked how she knew already. Red told me that
"I went to the theater after work (at a pizza place) and everyone was talking about how you're a slut."
So. I'm not entirely sure if she's being bitter, insulting me, making a joke, or what. What do you guys think? I don't know what to make of it

Dumping a girl you were going out with after a single day in preference of one who is cuter? The only thing more baffling than the turn of events itself is that you have to come here asking us to identify where you went wrong.
She will hate your guts for the rest of her life no matter how polite she may act in your face.
And you have to work with her! Ahahahahaaa

the girl is insulting you dimwit how is that not clear. while society may laud your efforts she doesn't appreciate it. Nobody wants to be called a slut and being a man slut is not a positive in society (A man can hook up in ways and with enough people that it becomes a negative even in fellow mens eyes)

Sounds like you were banking on the fact that number one was off work all week and didn't have phone access. Also sounds like you -- as the new guy -- somehow thought your suave and largesse was enough to trump the friendships and comraderie already in place between the co-workers, which makes you quite concieted as well for thinking you could pull something like that off.
I also wonder if girl #2 was aware of your lip locking session with girl #1 before she committed the same crime with you. I would not be surprised if girl #2 dries up pretty quickly upon realization of this. I would also not be surprised if they warn every new female employee that you are a shallow slut. You should have just said "no" to girl #1. You may consider learning some self control, rather than seeing the opportunity of getting some cheap thrills at the expense of another when you already knew full on that you were going to ask out girl #2.

Once Green wanted to start making out, I'm not sure I would have thrown up my hands and said, "Wait just a minute! I've been on a casual date with a considerably less attractive woman, with whom I have made considerably less emotional connection, and we're going to have to postpone this make-out sessions until I've informed her that there will not be a second date!"
I think the real question is whether you made it clear to Red that you intended to continue pursuing a relationship with her, which you left rather vague in the OP. If so, then making out with another girl was an obvious wrong on your part. Especially if you knew there was a good chance that Green and yourself would be observed making-out by coworkers. Even so, the term "slut" seems ambiguously inappropriate to me. I think of "slut" as being a strictly sexual term. If you primarily value Green for her relationship potential (and your more recent posts don't seem to indicate that), then being labeled a slut isn't really fair. But if you traded what you perceived to be a more promising relationship with Red for the prospect of merely hooking up with Green, then yeah, you're a slut.

well its really green for me because of both; for starters to me she is far more attractive and sexual. but its beyond that. theres a far stronger emotional connection. being with her feels way more natural and better than with red.
i do feel bad about red and i admit i did make it seem like i would pursue more dates with her, but what can i say? i didnt see us doing as well as me and green.
it doesnt help my conscience that i was told that red was "really upset" about the whole thing.

I'm guessing he also left is vague to Red as well. Unfortunately for him and Red (but mainly Red), this is one of this situations when silence indicates approval, and that a specific denial would have been required on PI's behalf. However, this is all based on the assumption that PI was always intending to dump Red, rather than simply trying to desperately hedge his bets and hook up with Green on the sly.

Not that I personally belive that mind you, who a woman sleeps with is none of buisness and the simple act of intercourse really means nothing more than recreation
However many women, the younger ones espacilly use sex to mask deep emotional issues and that's sad. Being a woman is a tough gig, I wouldn't trade being a guy for all the free drinks and dinners in the world

I have no qualms with the original purpose of this thread (which appears to be an attempt to seek opinions rather than out-and-out bragging), or indeed any thread that seeks relationship advice. I'm also fine with a little bit of double entendre as long as it's left to the imagination what you're talking about rather than making it blatantly obvious. Sexual matters can be funny and discussion-worthy without going into the exact details.
However, under no circumstances will I tolerate the tone being lowered to the extent that it has here; the Frontroom is supposed to be a place where anyone can post, Kingdom of Peace & Love and so on, but explicit discussion like we've seen here serves only to turn certain elements of the Org away.
