So, I like to give a girl I know a candy bar tomorrow (Wednesday afternoon) for her birthday since she told me once she loves candy. What do you think?

But she has a boyfriend though (who's still in high school). I'm probably going to give her something anyhow, you think it's a good idea :pimp:?

"candy bar" isn't some sort of euphemism, is it?

Everyone loves cnady. You might as well give her a gift of air, because I bet she loves breathing, too.

Don't do it, it's kind of creepy. Just tell her happy birthday. Doing something like this spur of the moment and spontaneously as you pass a candy shop is one thing. Actuallt showing up with a candy bar you deliberately bought and delivered to her is creepy.

OK enough, but real good though. Just trying to be friendly.

Even if I lie to her and say I had a spare one I didn't want? :laugh4::dizzy2:

Right, because there's no better way to appear "friendly" to a woman than saying "here's something I don't want, you can have it". :P

A simple 'happy birthday' should suffice, anything more could be taken the wrong way by her boyfriend.

A chocolate bar? O_o

Warman just rose on my scale of creepiness. You're now 7/10 points creepy, Mr. Warman.

You're still awesome though.

EDIT:

Maybe she took it well, but most girls would think it was creepy, or at least awkward.

What's the point of asking everybody's opinion if you're just going to ignore their advice, anyway?

True, but I guess I didn't creep her out if she posted on her FB page (linking me to it though the post) saying she got birthday cookies for me and how awesome is that.

Booyah!

Warman, we can now safely conclude that there is something seriously wrong with the people in your country.

Out of curiosity, what's your country anyway Warman? For some reason my head tells me it's Poland, did you tell me somewhere?

Warman is 19, reason enough.

As we all know from 14ish until 25ish, boys can't help but treat every interaction with any girl as a possible prelude to more intimate interaction. Our candybar is a good example.

I'm 36 and I still do it. It doesn't matter if she's 19 or 58....I know what she's really after

Not too surprising. A candy bar isn't too awkward of a gift for someone with a boyfriend.

I gave a girl I liked a stuffed animal once (Grateful Dead Bear). She was dating someone but it never became an issue.

Anyway, for a proper Frontroom post, shouldn't you be saying how much you pine for her and that her boyfriend is no good? :clown:

so, how is it now?
you've broken em up?
maybe, instead of some candy bar, you just need to ride a horse, dress as hussar, and start parading arround in front of her

P.S: Charging up with your saber toward the boy is completely optional :clown:

make sure it's melted

Squish it in the wrapper, then put it back in the fridge, so that when you give it to her, it's all silky smooth.
