View Full Version : Getting out of a castle
Hi,
When you attack a castle and win, your troops are sometimes (not always) left in the castle. If you have 16 units in there it is a pain to take each one out one at a time. Is there anyway to take all of your units out at once?
Thanks in advance.
Kiwi you can actually select multiple units in one army in the strategy map.
When you click on one unit, it will have a red frame - then you don't need to hold control or anything, just click another - then it will also have a red frame.
So now you can click all of the units and just drag them out http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif
thanks Maltz, I didn't know either.
Maltz,
Thanks a lot - I am trying not to think of how many times I picked them one by one and dropped them out of the castle and then had to drop them back on to each other. Aaaaaggghhh!
You are both very welcome.
Actually I accidently discovered it - maybe it was also said in the manual and I just didn't read it! http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/tongue.gif

havent played a campaign in a while, but cant you just click and drag a box over the units you want? or are you talking about in the little boxes at the bottom where the men are, maltz?

K so far I haven't discovered the "click-and-drag box" function in SP.. it will be very handy, if it really exists. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif

I had forgotten about that. Just been doing it the hard way in my latest campaign. I think its a worry when your mind start going at 21 or I have been hanging out with Gregoshi too much. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif
