It wasn't the subject itself that got the thread locked, but the fact that some people instantly thought it was necessary to insult others.


Eugenics is not a subject that is, or should be, forbidden.
However, it is divisive and the efforts made in this thread so far are less than "objective."

Given the poor start, I believe I will euthanize this thread.

Anyway, I'd like to see some statistics about those claims you've made, Fragony. I knew that marrying your cousin used to be popular in our Turkish community, but I've never heard the same about north Africans.
I don't doubt that people who commit the crimes you describe will have, on average, a lower IQ - but in the other thread you suggested that (all?) people of a certain ethnicity had an average IQ of 78, wich seems dodgy.

I'd also like to point out that in the part of the Netherlands where I live (the province of Groningen), there are quite a few backwater towns where there's rampant unemployment, petty/anti-social crime and a disproportionate amount of people with psychiatric problems and low IQ's. And these people are almost all white. If we're going to improve the genetic stock through eugenics, these people should get the same treatment.
