Huh? Song?

I'm afraid you did such an excellent job at grabbing our attention that all we will remember from this thread are your basketballs :laugh4:

I love that good ol' Hammond B-3ish sound (organ; -ish because who would be crazy enough to haul a B-3 and Leslie around to gigs these days).

2576

That being said, nothing has nor do I think ever will surpass the sound of a real Hammond/Leslie combo when it comes to modern organ tone. Many close calls, but no cigars.

Nice tune, LEN-san. Not into basketballs, even steel ones.

Right, even with the most modern equipment, it's very hard to recreate the sound of a real organ. I remember this interview about the Lesley organ, which was typically associated with carnival music that had a distortion effect that was impossible to recreate.

That indeed is my favorite part of the song -where the organ shows up, sire. :medievalcheers: (somehow that comes out wrong *cough*)
