I'm in the process of researching the Anglo Norman period for a project of mine. I'm primarily focusing on the last years of
William the conquerors reign but i'm also looking into the events leading up to that. I have already bought a translation
of the Doomsday book, found various website for supporting information and I already posses numerous books on the
Bayeux Tapestry and the battle of Hastings, but I'm still looking for some good resources on the impact of the Norman
invasion on English society and how life was under Williams rule. Since I don't know any other place with as man
passionate history fans I was wondering if you people know some good books or other resources from the time.
