I have some good news for you. The game appears to work with the fixes recommended in the sticky,and once I have my beloved XL mod downloaded and installed for it, I'll be giving it some testing to see if I can find any bugs,as this is the first time I've been able to actually play it in over a year. More to come,once I finish my first extensive campaign.

I'm about half-way through my current campaign and so far have found no major errors that stop me playing the game. There's some minor graphical bugs,but they are minimal at least. However I could caution everyone here,dont use the latest NVidia driver! It has some serious issues with flash player and youtube clips. I'm using the 275.33-32bit-driver and so far it's worked out well for me.

Good to hear it. You can fight battles normally, without the control issues?
