Just bought S2TW

and, it crashes. Every time when I launch. I get to the copyright page and I crash after a short wait. Tried verify game cache, tried updating all my drivers, heck I was even tempted to uninstall and re-install, but I didn't feel like downloading 15gigs again.

The funny thing about this is, my 'obtained' version works perfectly fine. Only crashed once. But the steam version, crashed like 8 times now and I haven't even gotten to the main menu.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, I had similar problems with my copy, especially after I reinstalled it. It was enough of a hassle that I decided I'm not going to run it until next year when I upgrade to a different laptop. I'm not impressed with steam.

I wonder if it could have anything to do with it detecting the "obtained" copy? I wouldn't put it past them. Does steam offer any support?

Oddly enough it was something in my appdata/thecreative... folder. A friend told me he had issues launching it and that I should just delete the folder and launch again. It worked like a charm.
