Steamgifts (http://www.steamgifts.com/) is a raffle website for steam games that others put up. Ive seen stuff like skyrimm and MW2 or Blops. If you want to try your hand at winning just sign up. If anyone wants an invite and they cant seem to get one, send me a pm.

I haven't won anything yet but plenty of people I know have. Here are 3 invites for a first come first serve basis.

Are you affiliated with Steam?

No! We are a collective of avid gamers who enjoy Valve's incredible digital distribution service.

Will I get in trouble using this? / Is this against Steam's TOS?

As of now, we have yet to hear of a single issue with the 1,000 gifts given away from the community. If any concerns were to arise, we would be more than happy to reach out to Valve, and do our best to address these issues, helping them understand the winners have no connections with the users providing the games. Overall, we're simply helping people find a way to share their extra copies, and SteamGifts is not setup to dodge country restrictions or pricing in anyway. Hopefully in the future we'll be able to get game publishers or even Valve involved.

When are you getting rid of the invites and opening up the site?
We like how the site is growing and it will remain invite-only for the foreseeable future.

How does this work? I thought Steam gave giftable extra copies in very limited circumstances.

Didn't take a code, to let somebody else have them.

People buy the games they wish to give away, and they give them away. The program that runs it pulls your name out of a hat so to say and the name is the winner.

Seems odd, if people want to give things away there are lots of worthy charities.

Ever heard a saying, don't look a gift horse in the mouth?

Its people being generous. They don't expect anything in return. Just a chance to win some games based off the generosity of others.

Ive got friends who have won stuff, plus if you dont trust it, its no waste to you except the 5min it takes for you to log in and see you don't like it. It also doesn't cost anything.

I little research convinced me to at least try it. No promises I'll stick with it. I used the bottom code.

I've been a member for a little while. I'm not very lucky. 66 entries and no wins.

Just log in once a day, take a gander at the first few pages and throw in to a few drawings, then hope for the best. All you have to lose is a few minutes of your free time. I'm willing to trade that for a free game.

There's no need to be suspicious. You know you don't actually do anything to get points, do you? 5% of the total value of each gift that's posted is given out to everyone as points. So if someone posts a $100 publisher pack, everyone gets 5 points. All you have to do is wait until you have enough to enter a drawing for a game you want, and then enter that drawing. You don't get points for inviting people (actually you have to spend 50). The site doesn't take your credit card info. It's just a facilitator.

There's no need to be suspicious.

My initial suspicion was due to experience of the Lockerz scam and how VehoNex (accidentally, I presume) presented it as such. I no longer have any such qualms now that I've taken a look at how SG operates.

Got plenty of spare points to create invite codes since my university doesn't allow access to Steam, PM me if you want them :)

Well I've won DOTA2, Dangerous Waters and Theatre of War2, so it's not all bad.
