I really want to start a online forum. but i cant either afford the domain or Vbulletin. perhaps some body could help me administer it as well pay for the costs??. because i seriously want this:rolleyes: and pay for the costs? I'm sixteen so I cant basicaley affored anything at the moment:yes:


The forum will be discussing the total war series as well

Why would you want to open up and create your own forum when there is a perfectly good (and free) one here for you to use!

One has to learn to make do with what one has. If "free" is all you can afford, then make it work. It is what gets posted that makes a forum great. The rest is just bells and whistles.

There is nothing wrong with phpBB, it can be whatever you want it to be, if you're willing to put in some time and effort.

In all due respect I belive that there was this big misunderstanding/ misinformation that's why i got perma banned. it was probly a mistake. because i got a bunch of computers in my basement and there is other people living in my house as well

You ask us to pay for a website. In addition I've seen you ask moderators at this forum to administrate your forum (the free one, which you created a few months ago). Apparently you did not think the free forum was good enough.

So all in all: You want a clone of this forum with you in charge, without paying the costs of owning a forum.

Creating a forum is one thing, however you also want to make your own game (no mod) without funds and you want to make a mod for RTW. Am I right?

The short and simple answer is that in order to be able to run a forum you must first have experience running a forum. If you need to ask other people for help you are definitely not ready yet: you need to be able to everything yourself, figure everything out and fix every little issue you encounter through understanding of the whole system. You cannot rely on people doing that for you, for free, and you cannot assume that even if you do pay them handsomely they will have everything covered (unless you are willing to accept the risk of all your money going up in smoke or going legal when something inevitably does bring it all down).

Before doing the hard stuff, I suggest starting with basic problems like this:
