Weird Map Glitch

everything works fine, no CTD. But I've just taken Krete from the rebels. the problem is that on the mini map the rebels still control Krete and I now own Byzacena, in africa. I can build and hire units at Kydonia but the land is in rebel hands. It says so when you right click over the island.
what do I do to change this.

This is a bugged savegame, did you save before a battle?

You should revert back to a previous savegame before the problem began.

No its not working. ive reloaded from a saved game more then 2 turns before. then take kydonia but still the map says i've taken the region byzacena. surly its in one of the txt
files?

No, the information is saved in your savegame.
Please verify the following things:
- activated the script every time?
- 1.2 fixes installed?
- calling off the siege and conquering the region at a later point did not fix the problem?

Important: Is the error before you conquer or directly afterwards?

Started the game before I installed the 1.2 fixes.
I activate the script around 98% of the time.
both times I took the city it happened, they were at different times(256-7BC & 146BC),

would deleting the saved games and starting the whole campaign get rid of it?

I'm going to play another faction and see if it happens ill play ve/ve on one of the greek factions

played as greeks and it worked fine. Now ive deleted all my saved games and ill restart the whole bloody thing all over again!!
