I hope more catch up to this, I haven't used Skype in a while simply because I had to open it seperately.
I do get the feeling though that they're opening up a bit since Microsoft took over, AFAIK the reason most chat clients didn't have Skype integration for a long time was that Skype tried to keep their protocol restricted to their own clients so this seems like a nice and welcome change.
