Yeah that's the question and challenge for me atleast. when i have a can of coca-cola i normally gulp it down in a matter of minutes so how long do you think i can resist

Is this a serious attempt to cut down or give it up, or are you just feeling a bit masochistic? :p

"Dude, quitting soda was the hardest thing I ever did. Screw cocaine, it's got nothing on coca-cola." - Gelatinous Cube

I hear you on that. I recently gave up coca-cola as well, my one bad addiction while otherwise being pretty healthy.

The experience of giving it up can best be summed up as, stealing a line from Team America, "Basically, all the worst parts of the bible."

Congrats on your 35 minutes of victory though, Pharoah!

just do what me and my Aunt (fanatical "cocaholics") did and join our farcical group, cocaholics anonymous.

though in seriousness, you shouldn't drink that quickly; a good pop is enjoyed slowly, like a wine or sth..wait ten minutes minimum.

Can resist it for years, decades in fact. Hate soda.

Although, to be fair, now I just drink calorie-free http://www.finehomeslv.com/xyience/xyience-energy-drink.jpp because I am a caffiene and vitamin B addict.

What's wrong with coffee and bananas?

Order tea at restaurants and drink vitamin water or bottled water. I usually have one soda every couple of weeks. Like today was the first time I had a soda in almost a month.

Sounds like you have a caffiene addiction. Try to ween yourself off it with other options. Though what tastes similiar with out the sugar? I am at a loss except if you want to juice your own fruit/veggies. If you like unsweeted tea, as I, try this.

I had a caffine addiction and switched, or drank more often rather, lighter teas. Good stuff. Though this one doesn't apply. ;)

I sort of like Bitter Lemon, and sometimes energy drinks (usually I prefer coffee). I rarely bother with any other kind of soda.

Screw cocaine, it's got nothing on coca-cola.

Coca cola was originally manufactured using coca leaves, hence the name. When that particular ingredient got banned to crack down on cocaine (pun intended), the company switched to cafeine.
