MTW replays

Is there any possibility of conversion a replay file (.vrp) to make it .avi or something similar? I see videos of battles from mtw on youtube and I don't know how they make it.

It's likely that the people posting videos on youtube are using Fraps to record the playback, i.e. a software that records everything that happens on your screen.

I checked on replay files and since they are only 30-40kb large I didn't think so either - more likely hoped so (in some games it's just possible). Yet thanks for the advice: with combined fraps & video size reducing program I got what I wanted.
