I love this. The same group of jokers (the Christian right) who filled their diapers with indignation and outrage when a split-second flash of a nipple was shown during their favorite ultra-violent family entertainment sporting event will now be bringing you their version of acceptable social commentary during that same event in the form of aborted fetuses for your family's edification and entertainment. Awesome.

And all because of a law that says television stations must not refuse to air the ads of presidential candidates, nor can they edit the content of those ads.

I wish I was a billionaire. I'd get myself on the Republican ticket in every red state, then buy all of the available Superbowl advertizing space in those states and air a Japanese bukake movie-loop over and over at every commercial break. And nobody would be able to stop me.

You're going to see a GOP that fragments if they nominate a guy like Newt. Family focused voters don't care what party is in power, as long as the party people aren't supporting the overt destruction of marriage or celebrating abortion as part of the American Dream (http://cnsnews.com/news/article/obama-defends-roe-v-wade-way-our-daughters-have-same-chance-sons-fulfill-their-dreams). Voters can fragment and support one party or another. Over the past 20 years, what has siding with one party actually achieved us?

You're really linking to that website as evidence? Did you miss the word "also" in that speech implying action beyond that which is under discussion?

"I'm looking to create the debate over whether a Christian can ethically vote for Obama," he said. "I know that we will prevail. I know we will make it a crime to kill unborn babies."
When religion has the power to affect a secular system I do despair greatly.

Religion is separated from the state, that is true. That doesn't mean though that religion is separated from the society at large.

It is a well known fact the majority of women get abortions becuase a child would cut into badly needed shoe money

Hence the old nursery rhyme of

There was an old woman who lived in a shoe.
She had so many children, she didn't know what to do;
She gave them some broth without any bread;
Then whipped them all soundly and put them to bed.

Naturally if she had an abortion she would have been able to afford a pair of shoes instead of living in one.
