The following three (http://gatesofvienna.blogspot.com/2011/11/islam-is-fear-part-i.html) part (http://gatesofvienna.blogspot.com/2011/11/islam-is-fear-part-ii.html) post (http://gatesofvienna.blogspot.com/2011/11/islam-is-fear-part-iii.html) gives wonderful insight into the mind of the not-racist.

The basic premise of the author is that Islam is evil incarnate, and that he can not be wrong in his assumption. Thus his mind was boggled, as he could not explain how so many people would cling to their religion. This formed the basis of a long and hilarious leap of faith on his part, as he dreams up a system that fits perfectly with his basic assumption; there must be some unseen force which keeps the population under control.

As the author of Conspiranoia, Arnfinn Pettersen, says, a good conspiracy is often a much better story than reality. This is confirmed in this instance. The article is a wonderful story, and highly amusing as well.

Too bad it only exists in the authors mind, eh?

Are you on holiday suddenly?

Right now, you are basically spamming. This is one topic you have split into what, five?

I'm having a hard time understanding all these new topics. From what I can gather, the fallout from the awful shootings that took place last year has not subsided in Norway, which is completely understandable.

Someone is having a chill week with no real planning needed for classes or assigments to mark, and next week is vacation time.

This is my way to celebrate.

You should have assigned more homework.

Homework has a minimal effect on learning, so I rarely give any.

How do students retain information if they do not practice using it often?

The only homework with any effect are repetive tasks/overlearning, given on a day to day basis. But even then, there are other factors with a much greater effect, so I focus my time and energy on those instead.

I would like to learn more about these other factors.
