Copying to the thread - problems

I recently posted a little story in the Mead Hall, but when I opened the thread and copied over the text from Microsoft Word it gave me a jumbled mess of connected words without any spaces which I had to edit afterwards.

Can this be fixed in a way? Large bodies of text copied and pasted can present some problems.

Formatting can be a bit wonky with pasting stuff in to the WYSIWYG editor, as not all the invisible formatting code from Word is recognized by the editor. I think you can get around this by first saving the document as a txt file, then pasting it in. I think that should strip all the formatting that would cause problems. You could also try switching your editor temporarily to either the basic or standard editor. I'm not sure about the latter though, so I'd recommend trying the former first.
