The Darkness 2 review

Just recently had a chance to test and review The Darkness 2 (http://www.voigtkampf.com/2012/03/03/darkness-2/).

Does it have the atmosphere and little touches that the firs one had? (like full length movies on TV)

Thats an odd one, you see. The atmosphere in general is satisfying, gloomy, well, dark. But the voice-acting, dialogs, classic mafia stereotype characters ruin it. So, if you plug your ears each time a certain character is talking, that won't ruin the fun. On other little touches, well, the game is too short anyway to indulge the little details.

Loved the first, good story. Most oppresive vision on hell ever, normally hell is cool but I really wanted to get out of that place. But the whole atmosphere great, gameplay not so much it never got in the way too much despit for some difficulty spikes when you just want to see what happens next. Will check 2 out after the pricedrop.
