I thought I would post this thread so as not to detract from Moros recent appointment, once again congratulations!

It appears that the EB forum will soon be losing one of long its serving moderators, Ludens. For a very long time now, for as long as I can remember at least, Ludens has provided a watchful eye over this forum; ensuring debates are civilised, posts are kept on subject and telling us all to calm down when we get too excited or mad. Most of use have, at some point, been told by Ludens to get back to the topic or in certain circumstances had our threads closed down (I know I have). For the newer members of the forum you may not be familiar with Ludens but that's ok (Moros has arrived, also please keep posting it's great to hear from you all). For the older members of the forum it's a pity to have to bid farewell to Ludens as a moderator but I would like to take the opportunity to thank him for his efforts and say he will be sorely missed.

Yes, the sentiment is very shared. I never thought this day would come. And I would like to thank you so much, in behalf of many, and, well; this forum won't be the same as before (no offense to our newest moderator, although he has big shoes to fill, I'm sure he will). The sentiment remains, thank you for what you have done for all of us Ludens.

Seconded. In my observations, Ludens has always been fair to everyone he has interacted with, something that can often be easier said than done. Best of luck to you Ludens in all your future endeavors!

I too am sorry that I have to leave, but due to real-life obligations I don't have as much free time as I used to. However, I am sure I am leaving the forums in good hands. And I will definitely be back for EB2.
