Hall of Fame Awards 2011 - Throne Room winners!

hi guys - you may have seen the announcement at the top of the page for the 2011 Org HOF awards.

This year we have four categories which are specific to the Throne Room: Throne Room Champion (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?140424-HOF-2011-Throne-Room-Champion-Suggestion-thread), Best Hotseat Game (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?140422-HOF-2011-Best-Hotseat-Game-Suggestion-thread), Best Gamesmaster (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?140425-HOF-2011-Best-Gamesmaster-(Throne-Room)-Suggestion-thread) and Best Throne Room Contributor (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?140423-HOF-2011-Best-Throne-Room-Contributor-Suggestion-thread).

If you head over to the relevant thread I have penned a short description of each to guide you in your nominations.

As it says in the FAQ you may nominate as many as you like (except yourself!) and the voting stage will come later - so please go ahead and nominate so we can have some fierce competition for each award! I will hold off on making nominations for now and until I see how the field is shaping up for each award.

One thing: not that I'm being presumptuous but please do not nominate either myself or Zim for any of the individual awards. We get plenty of recognition for the small part we play and the awards are rightly to be reserved for you the members who make this place so great. You may nominate games run by us for Best Hotseat if you wish. Myth has only been staff for a short period so he is eligible for all the awards.

By the way there is a best story / AAR award which is not specific to the TR but which we are able to nominate our work for. It currently has no nominations so if there's a piece of TR writing you liked last year please nominate.

Don't forget the RPG story threads (V&V for example)

Going on a business trip. Will be back on Friday. I've designated subs for all my games. Unfortunately where slysnake has asked me to sub and there are no other subs available, we will probably have to delay the games.

Congratulations to everyone! I must say I'm surprised and humbled, certainly it wouldn't have happened without all the effort put forth by the players. Time is tight right now, but I should have the time to start some more games in the coming weeks. I'll need to work hard to live up to this award!

I like the 100 years war idea very much, but France is too strong. England perhaps? I mean in the LTC mod.
