I just came back after a couple of years hiatus to see if anyone had developed a fix for the #$%& #@$% NVIDIA problem, and it's good to see some old faces.

Caravel has a mod now??? I'll have to check it out if I can get M:TW working on my new comp.

Yeah, I tried out M2:TW... Here is my report:


ME: *deploy*
ME: *march in formation and then charge*
VOICEOVER: "Your great conglomerated mess of units that are indistinguishable from each other is winning!"
ME: "Alright, send everyone in..."
VOICEOVER: "This game's treatment of battle formations is a terrible joke, but you have nonetheless pwned big time!"
ME: "Yay?"
GAME: *returns to strategy map*
VOICEOVER: "The stupid agent who you forgot about 150 years ago because the map is so busy and confusing has been assassinated!"
ME: *turns computer off and watches The Walking Dead*

Regarding the nVidia issues, you might want to try out this (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?138058-Possible-FIX-for-SHOGUN-GOLD-WARLORD-GRAPHIC-ISSUES-on-8xxx-amp-9xxx-Nvidia-Cards). No guarantees, but it did work for some folks.
