nice interview but only 12 questions ? maybe they should create a new part and release 1 interview per faction :X
A great (if short) interview. I didn't realise there was so much attrition of members. Such a pity.
Also, forgive me if the great spoiler wasn't that 'spoiler-ific'.

Well there clearly is attrition of members considering the project leader has in fact changed.

JMRC has in fact been our project manager for a very long time.

Is Foot still on board?

He disappeared. Probably busy w/ RL issues.

No, Foot and JMRC were both project leaders. And Foot's leaving has nothing to do with attrition.
What do you consider attrition then? Admittedly he hasn't 'left' the team but a long term (unexplained) disappearance is very similar in effect.

We were doing pretty ok at that time with important members such as Gustave, me, k_raso, oudysseus quite active, so it's not that the reason.
And no one replaced those members so we lack manforce to work at the pace we did in the past.
It may be a surprise but Eb2 is lacking most in the gameplay mechanics department and not in other such as units.
I don't like saying these internal things but I do it in the hope that some fans will get motivated and volunteer to help.

Was my statement false in some aspect? ~:)

It was something expected, but at least to me, was quite a surprise to see it already done: thought that sorta details would've been implemented after the units and campaign were ready...

Ah, my mistake. I didn't realize there were multiple project leaders.

"But among the new ones, my favourite is Gandhara. "
Is this one even previewed or announced yet?

For the sake of clarity, the faction name is Taksashila. However, the city of Taksashila was located in the historical region of Gandhara.
Hence, Gandhara = Taksashila.

This doesn't sound good. Unique gameplay and historical accuracy were the two main strengths of EB1. Unit models etc. are important, but the replayability depends mostly on gameplay. The mod cannot feel MTW2-ish or it will turn people off.

Of course, that's why things are moving so slow and why the mod isn't released yet.
So does this mean scripting, traiting, etc.? What exactly does 'gameplay' mean when you say you are lacking people?
