Today one of my brothers graduates, and Saturday my other brother does. Out of a family of six children, five will have graduated by Saturday, and the last one by next semester. Not bad for a family that had a hard time putting boots on its kids feet during Wisconsin winters, even though my dad worked 3 jobs at once for a good part of his life. America still is a place where anything is possible.

my dad grew up in a house with parafin lamps and no running water therefore I wins the social climbing competition.

yeah, just graduate from University myself, with a Bachelor of Science in Geology.

It's very funny though: lots of jobs in Geology, and I've so far submitted a dozen or more applications (I just stopped counting), but have heard nothing back.
